History

The firm Pedro BeltránAbogados was founded in the 19th century, in 1878, by Rafael BeltránAusó. It has a continued tradition of 135 years and four generations.

The first generation was Rafael Beltrán Ausó, (Alicante 1865 – Alicante 1925) who made his lawyer’s office compatible with his political activities. He was President of the Provincial Government of Alicante, Senator for the province of Alicante for 20 years and a Member of the Spanish Parliament for the Liberal Party till the end of his days. For many years he was also Dean of the College of Lawyers in Alicante. He managed to have, without any doubt, the best law firm in Alicante given his absolute dedication to the profession.

During  the second generation of the office, Pedro Beltrán de la Llave(Alicante 1898 – Alicante 1973)was in charge of the firm since 1920. Pedro Beltrán de la Llave was Deputy Mayor in the historic Town Hall of Alicante during the Second Republic (1931-1936). He stayed away from politics during Franco’s dictatorship and he expanded the office, which he moved to C/ San Fernando, No 49 in Alicante.

The third generation of the office is represented by Rafael Beltrán Dupuy, son of Pedro Beltrán de la Llave and Esther Dupuy, of French citizenship. He was born in Alicante in 1932 and he joined his father’s professional office in C/ San Fernando in 1955. For many years, Rafael Beltrán Dupuy was Chief of the legal consulting office of the former Bank of Alicante

The fourth generation is represented by Pedro Beltrán Gámir, son of Rafael Beltrán Dupuy and Fanny Gámir Casares.

Pedro Beltrán was born in Alicante on 6 December, 1962. He joined the office on 1 July, 1985, after a brilliant stay at university, passing all his exams with first class degrees and being number one of his promotion.

Pedro Beltrán Gámir is in charge of his own office at Avda. deMaisonnave, 30, 2nd floor. Under his management the office has expanded its headquarters and presently it counts with associate offices all over the world, thanks to AEA-International Lawyers Network. Pedro Beltran has his own offices also in Milan (Italy), Munich (Germany) and Lugano (Switzerland), Valencia (Spain) and Murcia (Spain) in collaboration with MODIANO, the Italian patent and trade mark agency one of the most important agencies in Europe.
